The Diary of Young Ann Frank FINISHED

For my second book, I read a book called The Diary of Young Ann Frank. This is about a girl named Ann, who died at the age of 15, as she talks about how she lived during World War 2 and The Holocaust. On my previous blog post I talked about what happened in between the story and now I am going to talk about what finally happened.

Anne Matures pretty quickly thorough out the course of her diary. She shows the pain and hardships it was to be a Jew at that time period of life. She finds it not understandable why the Jews are treated the way that they were back then. Even though she considers her self as a German, her citizenship has been revoked because she is Jew.

During the two years she had and wrote her diary in between, Anne had to deal with deprivation and confinement. She has many complicated struggles of just growing up in circumstances as brutal as the Holocaust. Her Diary ended on August 1, 1944 at the age of 15. It will leave you on a "cliff-hanger". However, the Frank family did betray the Nazis and is arrested. The Franks were arrested on August 4, 1944.

This is a great story and I loved it a lot. I don't say that to many books that are historical. I would recommend this book to everyone because this book has a genre that most people will like.

MIDDLE OF DIARY OF YOUNG ANN FRANK

For my second book, I choose to read a book called Diary of Young Ann Frank . It is about a girl named Ann Frank and how she talks about her experience about World War 2 and The Holocaust. We meet many characters throughout the book, examples include; Margot Frank, Otto Frank, Edith Frank, Mr. van Daan, Mrs. van Daan, and Peter van Daan. These characters help bring the autobiography to life.

The Franks move to the Netherlands right before World War 2 to escape the persecution in Germany. The Germans later invaded the Netherlands and the Franks had to hide again. Another family, The Van Daans, and a friend, Mr. Dussel both moved in a small secret annex which is right above Otto Frank's office. The employees from Mr. Frank's  form helped hide the Franks and gave them supplies to survive with information on what is happening in the outside world. They got this information from a radio and some of the information that Anne heard would catch her attention.

Anne would write about how she felt. She would feel mostly isolation and loneliness. She had a great relationship with the other adults in the annex especially her mother. She really loved her father. Anne also had a sister of which she though she were smart and pretty but she didn't feel to have that much of a great relationship with her. Anne meets a boy named, Peter Van Daan, and becomes close with him. Mr. Frank didn't really like him so much.

She has really matured a lot in this book. She had dreams and inspirations of what she wanted to do when she was older and now she has to live hidden from the world in a very harsh environment. She went to through a lot in just 2 years, as you can clearly tell.

This is a great book and you should read it. I recommend this to people who really like to know about the past and what happened during the Holocaust and World War 2.

The Diary Of Young Ann Frank

For my second book, I will be reading The Diary of Young Ann Frank. From many of my friend I have heard that this is a great book, so I started reading it. I actually found out it was good also, actually one of my favorite non-fiction books, and I am not the biggest fan with non-fiction books.

The The Diary of Young Ann Frank is a book about Ann Frank's life. The diary begins on her 13th birthday and ends on her fifteenth. It is about World World 2 and The Holocaust. She talks about the loneliness and the hardships she had to go through because she lived in a world like this. For the two years she has been writing in the Diary, she has learned a lot and changed her mind of many different things.

This is a great book and I recommend this to people who love non-fiction History and want to learn more about what happened in the past. I love this book and I hope to see you reading it one day.
